Atari today released new screens from Heroes over Europe, the sequel to Heroes over Pacific, set to be released across Europe in 2009. Heroes over Europe is currently under development for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and follows the stories of three allied pilots and their actions in the war, from the invasion of France to the devastation of Berlin in 1945. Heroes over Europe is set to raise the bar for flight combat games, featuring new and unique game modes, a deeper and more comprehensive online focus and cutting-edge graphics. Hudson PAX 2008 Line-Up Announced

Hudson Soft today announced their lineup for PAX 2008, including titles like Alien Crush Returns and Bomberman Blast both for WiiWare, as well as Fishing Master World Tour and Deca Sports, both for Nintendo Wii. PAX takes place in Seattle Friday, August 29, and runs through Sunday, August 31. The company will be exhibiting in booth 261.

Activision today announced that Guitar Hero World Tour is featuring several of the most influential instrument and equipment brands in the music industry. Gamers can score in-game sponsorships and gear from Ampeg, Audio-Technica, EMG Pickups, Ernie Ball, Evans Drumheads, Guitar Center, Krank Amplification, Mackie, Marshall, Orange County Drum & Percussion, Pork Pie Percussion, Regal Tip, Sabian cymbals, Vox and Zildjian drumsticks. In addition to featuring products, the game lets virtual bands play on the same stage as many of their favorite musicians with digital re-creations of Amoeba Music, Live Nation’s House of Blues Sunset Strip and San Francisco’s AT&T Park. The game will be released this fall for the PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2.

Boogie SuperStar Soundtrack Details Released

Electronic Arts today released soundtrack details for Boogie SuperStar, a Wii game which promises to combine the hottest music hits from around the world with the coolest dance moves and total character customisation. Boogie SuperStar features more than 40 songs made famous by popular artists such as Rihanna, Fergie, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys, Good Charlotte, Britney Spears, Kanye West, and more. Another 30 songs will be available on International versions of the game, allowing players to perform songs from local artists including Melissa M (France), Monrose (Germany), Finley (Italy) and Fito y Fitipaldis (Spain). Boogie SuperStar will be available in North America and Europe October 2008, and in Asia in the following months. SEGA released more screens from the Nintendo Wii and Dreamcast versions of Samba de Amigo, together with a new development diary which shows us their effort in improving the game for the new platform and new audience. Samba de Amigo is a game that lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favourites from the original dreamcast game. Playing as the grinning, sombrero-topped monkey, Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas, in time with the visual beats of the music on-screen. Release is expected September 19th.

World War One Release Date Confirmed and Screens

AGEOD today announced that World War One, a historically accurate turn based strategy game, will be available on November 11th, 2008. World War One will allow players to take command of one of six Great nations including Britain, Germany and Russia, as they try to ensure victory and restore peace in Europe. Players can take on the role of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha as they search for the strategy to avoid defeat in the first truly global war. All the tools for victory are available within the game, but it is up to the player to identify them and employ them in the most efficient way.
